Azerbaijan’s Aviation Industry Soars to New Heights
BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 26. Boeing’s Managing Director for Türkiye and Central Asia, Aysem Sargın, highlighted the remarkable growth of Azerbaijan’s aviation industry at the graduation ceremony of the ThinkYoung Coding School. In collaboration with ThinkYoung, Boeing Aerospace Company introduced a unique coding program in the Caspian Sea region and Central Asia, marking their first public initiative in Azerbaijan.
Sargın acknowledged Azerbaijan’s substantial investments in infrastructure and airplane fleets, making it a crucial market for Boeing. The coding school aimed to equip Azerbaijani youths aged 10 to 17 with digital skills, including website and game development, to prepare them for future careers in technology, aviation, and other STEM fields.
By offering coding classes and promoting English proficiency, the program provided students with essential skills for the digital age. This partnership between ThinkYoung and Boeing signifies a step towards fostering innovation and growth in Azerbaijan’s aviation sector.
