The Latest Update on Ukraine’s Fight Against Russian Invaders
In the past 24 hours, a total of 147 combat engagements were recorded on the front lines, with the most intense fighting taking place in the Pokrovsk sector. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine provided this update as of 08:00 on Friday, July 26.
On July 25, Russian forces launched multiple attacks, including one missile strike and 90 airstrikes using guided aerial bombs. Additionally, there were over 4,900 shelling attacks, with enemy forces targeting various settlements in the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions.
Ukrainian forces retaliated by launching 17 strikes on Russian troop concentration areas. In different sectors, including Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Lyman, Siversk, Kramatorsk, Toretsk, and Kurakhove, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy assaults.
Despite the ongoing attacks, there were no signs of enemy offensive groups forming in certain sectors. Russian presence near the borders of Chernihiv and Sumy regions remains a concern, with continued shelling of populated areas and increased minefields along Ukraine’s state border.
Ukrainian forces continue to defend their positions bravely, showcasing resilience against the Russian invaders.
