The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa Government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, welcomed the new Resident Representative of the World Food Program (WFP) to Yemen, Pierre Honnorat. In the meeting, Al-Ezzi assured the WFP of full support and cooperation from Yemeni authorities.
Al-Ezzi urged the WFP to resume and enhance food aid programs for the Yemeni people. On the other hand, Honnorat emphasized the WFP’s commitment to addressing the humanitarian crisis in Yemen despite funding challenges.
