Protests Against Gaza Genocide Met with Police Brutality and Legal Threats
As protests against the killing of civilians in Gaza persist in the UK, the state has responded with harsh tactics to suppress dissent. The influence of international Zionism has led to police brutality and legal threats aimed at stifling any opposition to the genocide in Gaza.
Recently, at the London University School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), known Zionist provocateurs falsely accused pro-Palestine protesters of theft, resulting in the violent arrest of seven individuals, including visibly disabled students. Despite no evidence of wrongdoing, the students are now facing legal consequences and university investigations.
Moreover, at University College London, authorities threatened to evict a pro-Palestine encampment, prompting demonstrations in solidarity with the protesters. Despite the crackdown on free speech and the use of police force, the students remain undeterred in their fight against the Israeli genocide in Gaza.
“The state is more scared of the people and repressing protests.”
The students continue to raise their voices for the victims of the Gaza genocide, highlighting the ongoing struggle for justice and accountability.
