International Criminal Court accepts 64 filings on arrest requests for top Israeli, Hamas officials, including Netanyahu.

The International Criminal Court has received 64 filings from various states, organizations, and individuals seeking to intervene in Prosecutor Karim Khan’s bid to issue arrest warrants for top Israeli and Hamas officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Countries such as the US, Germany, Palestine, Norway, and Spain, along with organizations like the Islamic Cooperation Organization and Arab League, have submitted their observations. Additionally, pro-Israeli figures like US Sen. Lindsey Graham and Jewish academicians have also been accepted in the process.

Parties involved are required to limit their observations to 10 pages and submit them before the deadline on Aug. 6.

Khan’s request for warrants against Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as well as three top leaders of Hamas, including Ismail Haniyeh, for alleged war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip, has stirred up international interest and involvement in the case.
