Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Minister of Defense, Zukan Helez, met with newly appointed military-diplomatic and military representatives for the period 2024-2027, wishing them luck in their new roles. He highlighted the rigorous selection process that identified the best candidates from the Armed Forces of BiH (AFBiH), including the first female military representative, Major Jasmina Omerbegovic.
Helez emphasized the importance of representing BiH and AFBiH while promoting strategic interests outlined in defense, security, and foreign policy. He encouraged the representatives to advance BiH’s integration aspirations and defense system development. Assistant Ministers Zoran Sajinovic and Sead Muratovic also wished the representatives success and urged them to focus on finding solutions.
