The Significance of Youth and Human Rights in Jordan
In a recent event launching the project “Active Jordanian Youth to Improve the Human Rights Situation and the Electoral Process in Jordan,” Dr. Khalil Abdallat, Director of the Human Rights Unit at the Prime Minister’s Office, highlighted the crucial role of King Abdullah II and Crown Prince Hussein in advancing human rights and supporting youth in Jordan.
The initiative, a collaboration between the Al-Hayat Rased Center and Plan International, aims to empower youth in human rights and electoral processes. Abdallat praised the leadership’s efforts in modernizing political and economic reforms, emphasizing the importance of youth involvement in decision-making for a progressive society.
Amer Bani Amer, Director of the Al-Hayat Rased Center, emphasized the project’s importance in improving Jordan’s human rights situation and promoting a culture of human rights. Mahmoud Karaki, Program Director at Plan International, highlighted the partnership’s commitment to advancing human rights for all demographics.
