Statement Disputes UN Rapporteur’s Report on Iran – Political News

The Foreign Ministry of Iran strongly condemned the report of outgoing UN rapporteur Javaid Rehman as a falsified attempt by the enemies of Iran to tarnish the country’s image. The statement emphasized that Rehman, who has ties to the terrorist group Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization, has no credibility in his allegations and his actions are rejected.

The spokesperson criticized Rehman for abusing his UN position to spread false stories and stated that the UN officials are responsible for preventing such biased actions against countries. Iran reserves the right to object to such biased approaches in human rights organizations.

Despite Rehman calling for an international investigation into “atrocity crimes” in Iran, Iran’s Foreign Ministry stressed that the enemies of Iran cannot clean up their dark record of anti-human activities with the abuse of international organizations. Rehman’s final findings, which accused Iran of crimes against humanity, were released before his mandate ended on July 31.

The statement highlights Iran’s determination to defend itself against biased accusations and distortions of reality by international entities.
