Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has urged Nigerians of Igbo descent to refrain from participating in nationwide protests against the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a press briefing in Abuja, Kalu reassured that the South-East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill, signed into law by Tinubu, would help mitigate the ecological and infrastructural challenges faced by the South-East due to the civil war.
