Kalu advises Ndigbo against protest; SEDC to address war effects.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Benjamin Kalu, has urged Nigerians of Igbo descent to refrain from participating in nationwide protests against the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In a press briefing in Abuja, Kalu reassured that the South-East Development Commission (SEDC) Bill, signed into law by Tinubu, would help mitigate the ecological and infrastructural challenges faced by the South-East due to the civil war. Emphasizing the significance of the SEDC Bill for the region, Kalu urged Ndigbo to avoid the upcoming anti-government protests.

Kalu’s plea comes as a reminder of the importance of unity and progress in addressing the historical struggles faced by the South-Eastern region. With the implementation of the SEDC Bill, there is hope for a brighter future for the Igbo community. The development of infrastructure and ecological projects will contribute to the overall growth and development of the region. Let us stand together in support of the SEDC and work towards a better tomorrow for all Nigerians.\
