China’s commitment to Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity was reaffirmed by Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba following a meeting with Chinese counterpart, Wang Yi. Kuleba emphasized the importance of upholding Ukraine’s principles in the midst of Russia’s ongoing conflict.
Despite China’s neutral stance in the Russia-Ukraine war, Kuleba expressed gratitude for their support for Ukrainian sovereignty. President Volodymyr Zelensky echoed this sentiment, highlighting China’s promise not to supply weapons to Russia.
While ceasefire negotiations are not yet mature, both Ukraine and China are open to constructive peace efforts. Kuleba emphasized the need for lasting solutions and mutual respect in negotiations, stating Ukraine’s unwavering stance against ultimatums.
