Pakistan Invites Chinese Investors to Expand Business Opportunities
The Federal Minister of Investment Board, Privatization, and Communications, Abdul Aleem Khan, announced that Pakistan is offering business visa facilities to investors from 124 countries, including China. He extended an invitation to more Chinese companies to invest in various sectors of the national economy.
During a briefing with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Minister Khan highlighted investment opportunities in sectors such as medical equipment, textile, and infrastructure. Seven major sectors were identified for potential investment from China to Pakistan.
The Chinese Ambassador assured full support for Chinese business organizations interested in investing in Pakistan. Minister Khan emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties with China and Europe for the growth of Pakistan’s economy.
Additionally, the French Ambassador to Pakistan, Nicolas Galey, discussed bilateral cooperation and trade activities with Minister Khan. Both ambassadors expressed interest in enhancing trade volume between their respective countries and exploring investment opportunities.
Overall, Pakistan is actively seeking foreign investments to boost its economy and enhance international partnerships.
