Al-Ruwaishan mentions Saudi’s commitment to conditioned implementing agreement – Yemen Press Agency

Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Deputy Prime Minister of the Sanaa-based Yemeni government, emphasized that the implementation of the agreement with Saudi Arabia hinges on the Saudi side’s commitment. While the agreement is seen as a positive step by Sanaa, Al-Ruwaishan highlighted that actual progress is still awaited as the airport remains closed, and restrictive measures against Yemeni banks persist.

Addressing Yemen’s support for the Gaza Strip resistance, Al-Ruwaishan reaffirmed the unwavering determination of the Yemeni people, leadership, and armed forces to stand by their declared stance. Despite efforts to sway Yemen’s position, Riyadh belatedly realized the futility of such attempts.

Al-Ruwaishan underscored that Yemen’s support for Palestinians is rooted in religious, national, moral, and humanitarian principles. As the ball now rests in Saudi Arabia’s court, the world watches closely for the next steps in Yemen’s diplomatic and geopolitical engagements.
