Saudi Arabia topples Aden central bank’s financial network in Yemen.

Saudi Arabia disrupted the unified financial network created by the Central Bank of Aden, supervised by USAID, in June, as per economic researcher Rashid Al-Haddad. The economic agreement between Yemen’s Sanaa and Saudi Arabia led to the downfall of Aden’s central bank’s financial network, with USAID being responsible for internal transfers under false pretenses.

Al-Haddad emphasized that Saudi Arabia’s actions indicated its control over political, economic, and military decisions in southern Yemen. The Saudi-led coalition and its government members were viewed merely as employees by the Saudi-backed committee.

Halting economic measures against commercial and Islamic banks helped Saudi Arabia avoid economic risks and prevented division in Yemen’s banking sector, ensuring its stability.
