Russian Army Claims Killing 50 ‘Western Instructors’ in Missile Strike

A Russian missile attack in northeastern Ukraine’s Kharkiv region reportedly killed multiple Western military instructors, as confirmed by Russia’s Defense Ministry. The attack targeted a deployment point of foreign instructors and mercenaries in Derhachi, resulting in around 50 casualties. The city of Derhaci is located near the regional capital of Kharkiv.

While the exact timing of the attack remains unclear, the claim has not been independently verified, and Ukrainian authorities have not issued a response. This incident follows Moscow’s previous assertion of eliminating thousands of foreign volunteers supporting Ukraine during the ongoing conflict.

In response to the invasion, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the formation of an international territorial defense legion, comprised of foreign fighters supporting Kyiv. The situation in Ukraine continues to escalate, with international repercussions as the conflict unfolds.
