Federal Minister of Transport and Communications Andrijana Katic recently signed agreements in Mostar to allocate funds for the construction and improvement of regional and local roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina. These agreements were made with county representatives and municipal authorities in the Federation. A total of 58 projects have been approved for funding, totaling over 20 million KM.
The goal of these projects is to enhance road infrastructure, improve traffic safety, and ultimately contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The selected projects aim to enhance the quality of life, boost tourism, and stimulate economic growth in various counties, cities, and municipalities across the Federation.
Today, contracts were signed with 18 project implementers, including road administrations, cities, and municipalities. The selection process was overseen by an expert committee, ensuring that funds were allocated to projects with a high level of maturity and potential impact. The remaining beneficiaries will also sign their contracts in the coming days.
