Are you a homeowner in Athens? Applications are now open for the Kalypsi accommodation program, a government initiative with a budget of 21.5 million euros aimed at providing housing solutions for citizens aged 25 to 39 who receive the minimum guaranteed income and do not own a home.
The program, implemented in 44 municipalities nationwide, addresses the issue of rising rent prices and the challenge of property ownership. The Ministry of Social Cohesion and the Family is overseeing the program to ensure eligible beneficiaries find suitable housing.
Government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis emphasized the importance of addressing the accommodation problem and highlighted the government’s commitment to supporting citizens in need of housing assistance.
