In a fiery response to Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz’s attacks on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has condemned the “dirty propaganda” as an attempt to cover up Israel’s crimes against Palestinians. The Turkish Foreign Ministry labeled Katz’s statements as a series of lies and slander, asserting that Israel’s targeting of Turkey and President Erdogan will not succeed.
The ministry also warned that members of the Benjamin Netanyahu government, responsible for the deaths of nearly 40,000 Palestinians in Gaza, will be held accountable in international courts. Turkey reiterated its unwavering commitment to defending Palestinian rights and advocating for peace and justice.
Katz’s derogatory social media post aimed at President Erdogan further fueled tensions between the two countries. Israel’s ongoing brutal offensive in Gaza, despite international condemnation, has resulted in the deaths of thousands of Palestinians, including many women and children, and left tens of thousands injured.
As the conflict continues to escalate, Turkey stands firm in its support for Palestinian rights and calls for an immediate cease-fire to ensure the safety and well-being of innocent civilians.\
