Ndume insists Tinubu remains inaccessible to lawmakers.

The recent removal of Senator Ali Ndume as Chief Whip of the Senate has sparked controversy following his public statement about President Bola Tinubu’s accessibility. Despite his replacement, Ndume stands by his comments, insisting that he made efforts to communicate with the President, but to no avail.

In an interview on Channels Television, Ndume expressed his frustration with the lack of access to the President, citing it as a contributing factor to his removal. He emphasized the importance of open dialogue on critical issues like national security and urged collective action from all stakeholders to address ongoing challenges in regions like Zamfara, Sokoto, Katsina, and Kaduna.

While acknowledging government efforts in some areas like Gwoza, Ndume highlighted the need for continued discourse and action to effectively combat security threats. He emphasized the responsibility of all individuals to contribute to solutions and cautioned against complacency in addressing pressing national issues.
