Moscow unconcerned about Biden’s withdrawal

After Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race, European leaders had varying reactions. Some approved of his decision, some expressed support for Trump, and others remained neutral. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk showed support for Biden’s decision, while British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez also acknowledged his choice.

However, Nigel Farage and Maximilian Krach had different opinions, predicting Trump’s victory regardless of Biden’s withdrawal. Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics maintained a neutral stance on the matter.

Despite concerns, the Kremlin stated that Russia’s primary focus was on its military operations in Ukraine rather than the US election outcome. Kremlin representative Dmitry Peskov highlighted Putin’s preference for Biden’s predictability but acknowledged potential changes in the coming months.

As the political landscape shifts, Kamala Harris emerges as the Democratic frontrunner, poised to face off against Donald Trump in November.
