Iran’s defense achievements have seen significant growth during President Ebrahim Raeisi’s administration, according to Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Ashtiani. Over the past three years, the country has witnessed a 2.5 times increase in the production of weapons, defense equipment, and systems, as well as rendering services to the Armed Forces.
Notable accomplishments include the successful launch of satellites, development and manufacturing of missiles, surface-to-air missile systems, strategic drones, transport aircraft, and training jet aircraft, as well as the completion and launch of a destroyer. Iran has also made advancements in detection and identification systems, as well as hitting low-altitude targets and cruise missiles.
Overall, Iran’s defense ministry has made significant strides in enhancing the country’s defense capabilities and military strength, positioning Iran as a key player in the region’s defense sector.
