Yemen warns Israel of fierce retaliation, vows continued support for Gaza

A senior Yemeni official has issued a strong warning to Israel following a deadly airstrike on the province of al-Hudaydah. Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, vowed “effective operations” in retaliation for the attack, which killed three people and injured 87.

Al-Houthi condemned the “terrorist aggression” by Israel, stating it would not have been possible without the support of the US and Britain. He affirmed their continued support for Palestine and Gaza, despite the attack.

In response, the Yemeni Armed Forces launched a drone strike on Tel Aviv, using a new drone named “Yafa.” This marked a significant escalation in their resistance against Israeli aggression since Tel Aviv’s Gaza onslaught.

The Ansarullah movement also warned Israel of “surprises” and promised a strong and crushing response that would be “an earthquake for the aggressors.” They advised the Israelis to brace themselves for the consequences of their actions.

Yemen’s resolve to defend its sovereignty and people against foreign aggression remains unwavering, as they continue to stand in solidarity with Palestine in the face of Israeli attacks.
