In a show of diplomacy and partnership, Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler met with the chief of general staff of North Macedonia, Lt. Gen. Vasko Gjurchinovski, and the ambassador of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to Ankara, Ismet Korukoglu. The meeting, which took place in Ankara, emphasized the importance of maintaining strong military ties between the two countries.
According to Türkiye’s National Defense Ministry, Turkish Chief of General Staff Metin Gurak also attended the meeting, further solidifying the commitment to collaboration and mutual support. Lt. Gen. Vasko Gjurchinovski’s visit to Ankara was at the invitation of Gurak, highlighting the ongoing efforts to foster positive relations and cooperation in the defense sector.
