Syria Strongly Condemns Israel’s Decision Against Palestinian State
Syria has voiced its condemnation of the recent decision by the Knesset in Israel to reject the establishment of a Palestinian state. The Syrian Foreign Ministry stated that this decision exposes the true intentions of the Zionists and their government, aiming to establish “Greater Israel” at the expense of Palestinian rights. The ministry emphasized that this decision is a blatant violation of the historical rights of the Palestinian people, undermining relevant UN resolutions.
Furthermore, Syria highlighted that Israel’s policy of preventing the Palestinians from establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as the capital contradicts the pursuit of just and comprehensive peace in the region. The ministry also pointed out the brutal crimes committed by Israel in Gaza and other Palestinian territories, indicating their expansionist agenda.
In conclusion, Syria reaffirmed the Palestinian people’s right to establish their independent state and called on the international community and the United Nations to take a decisive stance against Israel’s policies of expansion and aggression.
