Russia Downs 26 Ukrainian Drones in Rostov – Governor

Russia’s air defense forces intercepted and destroyed 26 Ukrainian drones in the Rostov region, far from the front line, with no casualties reported, according to Governor Vasily Golubev.

An oil depot in the same region was set on fire last Saturday following a drone attack from Ukraine, which has increased its attacks on Russian territory this year targeting energy sites and towns across the border.

Both sides have heavily relied on drones since the conflict began in February 2022.
