PML-N advised to find ‘democratic solution’ for PTI issue in Pakistan

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) advised the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to reconsider its decision to file a review petition in the Supreme Court regarding reserved seats. The PPP also emphasized the importance of handling the issue of banning the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) in a democratic manner.

In a meeting at the Presidency chaired by President Asif Ali Zardari, the PPP expressed its concerns to the PML-N representatives including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Law Minister Azam Nazir Tarar. The PML-N presented two main issues – the review petition on reserved seats and the proposed ban on PTI, seeking PPP’s support.

The PPP, feeling excluded from crucial decisions, assured the PML-N of convening an in-house meeting to discuss its stance on the matters. The party is reportedly divided on supporting the PTI ban.

This development indicates potential tension within the ruling coalition and raises questions about the future dynamics of the government. Stay tuned for more updates on this political development.
