The flight crashed with the pilot and two passengers. All three of them have died.

A plane attempting an emergency landing at an Ohio airport tragically crashed, resulting in the deaths of all three individuals on board.

The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed that the twin-engine Beechcraft 60 went down near the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport in Ohio on Friday evening.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the crash just north of the airport claimed the lives of the pilot and two passengers, with their families being notified and names pending release.

Preliminary reports suggest a mechanical failure in the aircraft not affiliated with the air reserve station at the airport led to the tragic incident, according to Anthony Trevena, executive director of the Western Reserve Port Authority.

The National Transportation Safety Board will conduct an investigation into the crash as per the FAA.
