Tragedy struck the Gaza Strip as Israeli warplanes conducted overnight airstrikes targeting homes, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of Palestinians, including children. The Civil Defense Service in Gaza reported casualties from multiple airstrikes, including the Ayad family in Sheikh Radwan, the Shraihi family in Nuseirat, the Abu Jaser family in Jabalia, and the Batran family in Al-Bureij.
Eyewitnesses also recounted the bombing of a dwelling in the Nuseirat refugee camp, causing further Palestinian casualties. The Al-Awda Hospital confirmed receiving several martyrs and injured individuals from the attacks.
Despite international condemnation, Israel continues its offensive on Gaza following an Oct. 7 attack by Hamas. The death toll stands at more than 38,800 Palestinians, with widespread destruction and a blockade on essential resources. Israel faces allegations of genocide at the International Court of Justice, with a recent ruling demanding an immediate halt to military operations in Rafah.
