In a tragic turn of events, a soldier of the Frontier Corps was martyred and 13 others were injured in two separate attacks in Buleda and Pishin areas. The soldier, part of the Quick Response Force of the Frontier Corps South, lost his life in Buleda when militants detonated an explosive device targeting a vehicle carrying FC personnel. Seven others were also injured in the blast and have been taken to a nearby health facility for treatment.
In a second incident in Pishin, unidentified miscreants detonated an improvised explosive device near the court of the district and sessions judge to target a CTD vehicle carrying personnel. Three CTD officials and three pedestrians were injured in the attack, but luckily, the Station House Officer of CTD Pishin survived.
