In a recent statement, Vice President of the Government of Serbia and Minister of the Interior, Ivica Dacic, confirmed that the killer of a policeman has been apprehended and killed by police officers near Loznica.
The suspect, Fanton Hajrizi, was being pursued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia following the tragic killing of border policeman Nikola Krsmanović in Loznica, with another officer, Vjekoslav Ilić, seriously injured in the incident.
Minister Dacic personally visited the scene and commended the work of the police force in swiftly bringing the suspect to justice.
“Members of the police killed a suspect in the vicinity of Loznica,” Minister Dacic confirmed, highlighting the dedication and commitment of law enforcement in ensuring the safety and security of the community.
The successful operation to apprehend the suspect demonstrated the effective coordination and decisive action of the police in response to such a tragic incident.
