Armenian Ambassador Discusses Economic Development and Cooperation with Black Sea Trade and Development Bank
Recently, the Ambassador of Armenia to Greece, Tigran Mkrtchyan, had a meeting with Asterios Tsoukalas, Secretary General of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank. During the meeting, Ambassador Mkrtchyan highlighted Armenia’s economic growth in recent years and the current state of the banking system. He also presented key strategic initiatives, such as the plan to establish Gyumri as a “dry port” and the obstacles faced in implementing the Crossroads of Peace project.
Asterios Tsoukalas provided insights into the bank’s cooperation with Armenia, highlighting ongoing projects and discussing potential future collaborations. The meeting was also attended by David Shahzadeyan, a senior advisor at the bank, and Akis Dagazyan, Honorary Consul of Armenia in Thessaloniki.
