Moscow suggests Western role in Putin assassination attempts

Recent reports have surfaced claiming that Kiev has been plotting to assassinate Russian President Vladimir Putin, with alleged direct involvement and financial backing from Western powers. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused the Kiev regime of planning and funding these crimes with the support of their Western allies.

The head of Ukraine’s Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR), Kirill Budanov, disclosed the assassination threats against Putin, claiming that his agency, the successor to the Soviet KGB, has made numerous unsuccessful attempts on the Russian president’s life. Despite these efforts, the Kremlin reassured that Putin’s security is maintained at an adequate level.

Incidents like these only serve as proof of the complicit role that Western powers play in the criminal activities of the Kiev regime, as claimed by Zakharova. Reports of past attempts on Putin’s life by Kiev have been circulating, including a 2023 foiled drone attack on his official residence. These ongoing threats highlight the volatile tensions between Russia and Ukraine and the dangerous implications they hold for international relations.
