At Drink Wisconsinbly pub, located near the convention venue Fiserv Forum, Gregory Rice from Rhode Island shared his disappointment with the lack of originality in the speeches, likening them to being too cookie-cutter and predictable.
While some speeches fell flat, moments of excitement filled the room when topics like illegal immigration and strong Republican identities were raised. The diverse range of speakers, including rapper Amber Rose, brought a refreshing perspective to the stage.
Outside the bar, more people gathered to watch the speeches on big screens, sharing Michael O’Neil’s sentiment that the party is now Trump’s and calling for a shift away from money-driven politics.
