Israeli aggression continues in Lebanon as a drone strike by Israel killed Mahmoud Mohammad Jbara, a senior leader of Lebanon’s Jamaa Islamiya group in the Eastern region. The strike took place in the Western Bekaa area according to Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA). The Jamaa Islamiya group mourned the loss of Jbara and held the Israeli enemy responsible for the attack.
In response, the group expressed determination to defend the land of south Lebanon and support Palestine despite such cowardly acts. Hamas’ Qassam Brigades also honored Jbara’s martyrdom, highlighting the commitment to the Palestinian cause. The recent attack aligns with a warning from Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, who promised to retaliate against Israeli settlements if civilians in Lebanon continue to be targeted.
