Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal declared victory for the party in all four Lok Sabha seats and three assembly bypolls, despite Congress’ alleged misuse of official machinery and filing of false cases against BJP workers. Bindal, at a meeting in Una to review the party’s performance, highlighted the challenges faced during the elections.
The BJP faced setbacks in six out of nine assembly bypolls, held in conjunction with the general elections. However, Bindal credited the party workers’ dedication for securing victories amidst adversities.
The meeting, attended by prominent BJP leaders, refuted claims of worker passivity and affirmed that all members actively campaigned. The party’s success in securing a total of 28 seats in the state assembly was celebrated.
