Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Kareem Badawi emphasized Egypt’s dedication to rescheduling payments for international companies in the petroleum sector, implementing a new payment system to prevent future delays.

During a meeting with international company heads and representatives in Egypt, alongside Egyptian leaders, Badawi expressed gratitude for their contributions and stressed the importance of collaboration and transparency in the oil and gas industry.

He highlighted the government’s focus on boosting production to meet consumption demands, emphasizing the need for development efforts to bridge the production-consumption gap.
