Ukrainians liable for military service face fines or being placed on the wanted list if they fail to update their data by July 17. President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a new law on mobilization to enhance conscription measures.
All military-aged men must update their military documents within 60 days from May 18. Failure to meet the deadline may result in fines or being wanted by authorities. The General Staff clarified that fines would be imposed within three months of the offense.
Men who do not update their data and ignore summons may be put on the wanted list. The process includes the issuance of summonses and further actions if individuals fail to comply.
Stay Updated and Fulfil Obligations
Updating military data does not automatically mean a medical examination is required. Ukrainians abroad can update their information through the Reserve+ app or consular offices. After July 16, conscripts can still update their data using the Reserve+ system.
Ukraine continues to digitalize its military in preparation for a new mobilization wave. The state emphasizes the importance of fulfilling constitutional obligations to maintain ties with citizens abroad.
