ANKARA Continues Fighting Against FETO

Turkey’s communication director emphasized the country’s determination to combat the Fetullah Terrorist Organization (FETO) in all areas, not only to protect Turkey but also to safeguard global security. The fight against FETO, responsible for the failed coup attempt in Turkey, remains a top priority for Ankara, with calls for extradition of FETO leader Fethullah Gulen from the US.

Despite challenges from some allied countries, Ankara remains steadfast in pursuing justice for the victims of the coup attempt and upholding the principles of democracy and national unity. July 15 is recognized annually in Turkey as Democracy and National Unity Day, commemorating the bravery of the Turkish people in resisting the coup plotters.

Ankara expects support and cooperation from its allies in bringing FETO members to justice and preventing further threats to Turkey’s sovereignty. The fight against FETO continues on a global scale, with Ankara committed to upholding democratic values and protecting the rights of its citizens.
