The Mystery of the Missing Border Pillar Coordinates
Reports from Sputnik Armenia reveal that the office of Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan has been tight-lipped about the coordinates of border pillars in Tavush. Despite repeated requests for this information, the office has not been forthcoming with the details.
Initially, a request was made to the Armenian government, which redirected it to Grigoryan’s office. However, the response received only promised information after completion of relevant work. Subsequent follow-up inquiries about the status of these coordinates and the approval of Regulations on Joint Activity of Delimitation did not yield any response either.
In the midst of this silence, the Armenian government reported progress on joint work drafts between Armenia and Azerbaijan on border delimitation. But the lack of communication from Grigoryan’s office continues to raise questions about the transparency of this process.
