A Comorian-flagged oil tanker capsized off Oman, with 16 crew members, including 13 Indians, reported missing.

The cause of the capsize remains unknown as per the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) of Oman.

The vessel, Prestige Falcon, had 16 crew members on board, including 13 Indians and three Sri Lankans. The crew is still missing.

The incident occurred 25 nautical miles southeast of Ras Madrakah, with search and rescue operations in progress.

The ship was en route to Aden, Yemen. The situation is being monitored closely.
