Uruguayan Presidential Candidate Yamandú Orsi Meets with Spanish PM Pedro Sánchez
Uruguayan Presidential hopeful Yamandú Orsi recently met with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at the Spanish Worker Socialist Party (PSOE) headquarters in Madrid. The meeting aimed to discuss matters concerning the global left and promote the exchange of experiences and strategies, as reported by Montevideo outlets.
Sánchez, also Secretary General of the PSOE and Chairman of the Socialist International (SI), welcomed Orsi to discuss the roadmap of the left in Uruguay ahead of the upcoming elections on October 27.
Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening ties with progressive parties in Latin America to foster the exchange of ideas and political strategies. Orsi expressed gratitude for the warm reception and the valuable exchange of views with Sánchez.
