Ukraine’s successful strikes on Russia’s vessels have led to a significant reduction in the Russian Navy’s sphere of influence in the Black Sea. Around 30% of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet is now lost or disabled, according to the Ukrainian military.
With the Russian Navy retreating to the port city of Novorossiysk, Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence sees this as a strategic victory. The world now witnesses the diminishing presence of Russian forces in the Black Sea, thanks to Ukraine’s determined efforts.
