Russian Air Strikes Claim 3 Lives in Ukraine

Russian Strikes Kill Three in Southern Ukraine, Including Odesa Port

Recent Russian strikes in southern Ukraine resulted in the deaths of three individuals, including two at the Black Sea port of Odesa. Governor Oleh Kiper confirmed that the aggressor targeted port infrastructure, leading to the death of a security guard and a truck driver. It remains uncertain whether the fatalities were direct hits or caused by falling debris from missile destruction.

Southern defense forces reported that Russia launched a ballistic missile and four guided missiles at the southern port, but three enemy missiles were successfully intercepted. Additionally, a 62-year-old man lost his life in Russian shelling in Nikopol.

Despite the attacks, Ukraine’s air force managed to destroy 14 out of 20 drones launched over the country. The recent strikes come after a rare daytime attack in Kyiv, which resulted in the deaths of 34 individuals. Russia has been conducting nightly attacks across Ukraine since the invasion began in February 2022.
