Morocco has allocated nearly one million hectares of land to implement the “Moroccan Offer” for green hydrogen development, announced Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch.
In a session at the House of Representatives, Akhannouch emphasized that this land base will support integrated projects in green hydrogen, aiding Morocco’s competitiveness in this crucial sector. The government views this land as a key element in advancing the green hydrogen industry.
This initiative marks a significant move towards a sustainable energy future for Morocco, aligning with its objectives of reducing carbon emissions, diversifying energy sources, and becoming a leader in green hydrogen exports.
