Kenyan Police: Suspected Killer Confesses to 42 Murders

Police says nine bodies had been recovered so far and that autopsies are under way in Nairobi.

The Kenyan police have made a shocking revelation after the prime suspect arrested in connection with the discovery of mutilated female bodies in a Nairobi rubbish dump confessed to killing 42 women. The suspect reportedly admitted to luring, killing, and disposing of the bodies at the dumping site, painting a chilling picture of a psychopathic serial killer.

Authorities also mentioned the arrest of a second suspect found with a victim’s handset. Acting Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja confirmed the arrest of the 33-year-old prime suspect in a joint operation.

Since the gruesome discovery, tensions have been high at the crime scene as police work to recover and identify the victims. The horrifying incidents have not only shocked the nation but also raised concerns about security measures and law enforcement in Kenya.

The ongoing crisis has added to the challenges faced by President William Ruto, who is already dealing with antigovernment protests sparked by a recent tax increase and escalating living costs.
