Labor Minister Mohamed Gobran highlighted the government’s focus on work and laborers, emphasizing the importance of engaging with Egyptian expats and attracting investments from abroad.

Gobran urged the Ministry of Investment to collaborate and share a database of Egyptian expatriates for better communication.

Speaking before a parliamentary committee, Gobran outlined the action plan of the Labor Ministry, including the formation of a working group to assess the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market.

The ministry is also working on finalizing a labor bill to address local and international labor market demands

Gobran also announced plans for a national strategy to enhance occupational safety, increase women’s employment rates, and protect workers and business owners.
