The Ukrainian government is taking steps to decentralize energy production, which is expected to improve the energy situation in the country after July 20. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal highlighted the government’s efforts to support a wide range of consumers, from households to businesses, in generating additional energy.
Alternate forms of energy, such as solar panels and wind turbines, are being utilized, along with grants and preferential loans. Recent attacks by Russia on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure have raised concerns about energy supplies, with warnings of potential electricity shortages in the upcoming winter.
Despite challenges, Kyiv has restored a significant portion of its generating capacities after Russian missile attacks, showcasing resilience in the face of adversity.
