Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to visit the UK and Ireland next week, as reported by The Guardian. Zelenskyy will meet with Irish taoiseach Simon Harris in Shannon airport, Co Clare, to discuss support for Ukraine’s efforts to repatriate children relocated to Russia and Belarus. The visit to the UK will allow Zelenskyy to meet a wider delegation of the Labour government, reaffirming the UK’s support.
The European Political Community’s fourth conference, initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, will take place in the UK. The conference aims to strengthen ties between EU and non-EU leaders in an informal setting. Non-EU countries like Norway, Iceland, Georgia, Kosovo, Serbia, Albania, and Turkey are also invited.
