The Palestinian resistance movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad have condemned Israel’s “horrific massacre” in the al-Mawasi refugee camp near Khan Younis, blaming the international community for allowing the regime’s genocidal war in Gaza to continue.
Islamic Jihad criticized the inaction of the global community in stopping the brutal war and lifting the blockade that traps hundreds of thousands in Gaza. Meanwhile, Hamas labeled the Israeli airstrikes in al-Mawasi as a dangerous escalation, a clear confirmation of the regime’s genocide campaign against Palestinians.
The resistance groups accused the US administration of complicity in Israeli crimes, providing political and military support that shields Israel from accountability. President Mahmoud Abbas’s spokesman also blamed the US for the heinous massacre, urging the international community to intervene and stop the bloody atrocities in Gaza.
The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on Israel’s allies to “awaken their conscience” and end their support for the regime’s actions in Gaza.
