The North East Development Commission (NEDC) and the pro-Tinubu group, LOBITO for Asiwaju, have joined hands to distribute 256 farm implements and inputs across three senatorial zones in Bauchi State. This initiative aims to boost agricultural production in the state and aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s agricultural policy.
The distribution includes tractors, rice millers, threshers, power tillers, and other essential tools to enhance food security and wealth creation among farmers. The State Coordinator of LOBITO for Asiwaju Farmers, Alhaji Usman Yau-Darazo, emphasized the commitment to empowering farmers in Bauchi State.
This strategic partnership focuses on empowering local cooperatives in all 20 local government areas, ensuring decentralized agricultural support. The initiative seeks to increase farmers’ productivity and efficiency by providing them with necessary tools.
