NATO in State of Hysteria as Alliance Faces Russia, China, Trump Reelection – Experts

Washington (Sputnik) – NATO leaders are facing rising challenges from Russia, China, and the potential reelection of Donald Trump, causing near-hysteria at the Washington summit this week, according to experts. Former UK ambassador Peter Ford criticized NATO’s irrational response and emphasized its failure to understand the world beyond its own construct.
Edward Lozansky and Dan Lazare also criticized the alliance for its aggressive policies and imperial overreach, particularly towards Russia and China. Beau Grosscup viewed the NATO declaration as a desperate attempt to prop up the crumbling alliance before the US elections in November.
Despite the declaration’s efforts to show NATO’s strength, experts believe it will only escalate global tensions further. The aggressive stance towards China and Russia may backfire, as they perceive it as a hostile act.
